🔍 Value check — the board's pricing tool

Part of the board's toolbox. Before you buy the “antique” — or price your own — check what it really sells for.

What it does

You give it a photo of an item. The checker reads the photo — what the item is, its condition — and grounds a value range in real sold prices: a live panel of completed eBay sales for the same kind of thing, plus verify links (eBay Sold, Google Shopping, Facebook Marketplace) so you can see the evidence yourself instead of trusting a number. It was built for garage sales, and it works for anything on this board: furniture, tools, records, gear.

1

Snap it

Photo the item where it sits — garage, curb, or listing. Photo-first, no form marathon.

2

See real sold prices

What it actually sold for, not what someone hopes to get.

3

Decide on the spot

Buy it, pass, or price yours the same honest way.

Honest state, today: the checker is a single tool that lives on GarageSales.direct — this page is its door on the board, not a second copy. Its AI photo read needs its API key set in the GarageSales settings before it runs; until that key is in, the photo read reports that it isn't configured yet. We're not going to dress that up — the door is real, the tool is real, and the read switches on with the key. And whenever you use it: results are sold-price references, not a promise yours will bring the same.
